Anyway, to keep this on topic Incase off-topic posts aren't allowed, I have watched all the stranger things seasons, and I am very excited for the 5th season to come out. I am very happy they were able to beat vecna. and my favorite stranger things characters are Alexei, but that is my most favorite character, because I think all the stranger things characters are cool (well except for the bad guys, but the actors of them did a very good job)

They are apparently filming at a large house located somewhere in the Stone Mountain GA area.

Residential areas of Stone Mountain have been used for filming before- the "Loch Nora" scenes involving trick or treating in Loch Nora were filmed on Planter's Row in Stone Mountain GA.

I suspect they are probably filming in the same area.

The significance of this house to the plot is not known.

• I'm working on a ST-inspired campaign for my friends... >:) Set in the world of Stranger Things, with some canon characters as NPCs, monsters from the show, etc. I'm adding a lil bit of artistic flair, though, with the addition of Demodeer! They're basically 'deer' who's faces can... yk, split apart and will consume you very quickly, they're also very aggressive.

Have you noticed that, after a flurry of photos/information releases in January, there has been a remarkable decline in the number of "hints" coming out of the production company?

I wonder if Season 5 takes place in post-apocalyptic world like 5 years later. If that’s the case which I doubt it since we wait and see, but it would be interesting to see everything is like a post-apocalyptic wasteland like The Walking Dead or Terminator.

It has been customary that Shawn Levi directs episodes 3 and 4 of each season of ST. For season 5, his schedule has a conflict. He will still be directing "a later episode" due to this conflict. He will not be directing the finale episode(s) -- the Duffer Brothers are going to be doing that themselves.

Left unclear is whether he will be directing one episode out of episodes 3 and 4, and then a later episode, or will he be directing only one episode (total) in season 5.

The imdb listing for episode 5x1 "The Crawl" now lists Stephen Conroy as a member of the crew.

Conroy previously appeared in episode 1x1 as an agent.

His role in "the Crawl" is, however, interesting. He is a "military advisor" for the series.

This is the first time that they have had a "military advisor" so it would suggest that the role of the military in season 5 (and even as early as episode 5x1) will be much greater.
