Behind the scenes
The location used for the police station was 48 Pray Street in Douglasville, Georgia, where both the exterior and interior scenes were filmed.
The police cruisers and uniforms, including the shoulder patches, are heavily influenced by the appearance of the Amity Police Department in the 1975 horror film Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg.
