Hello! I would just like to inform you there's currently a discussion being held over the future structure of character articles regarding the recent announcements of comics, books, and a video game. You can participate in the discussion here.
Hi, thank you for your fantastic work on the family tree templates!
As you may know, Hopper adopts Eleven at the end of Season Two. I tried to alter the Ives family tree template, but I have no idea how the family tree templates work. Please, when you have the time, add Hopper to the template. Thanks very much.
I decided to undo the edits to the Ives family tree because of the way you restructured the Eleven article and added the Hopper family tree, which of course now includes Jane. If there are to be Biological and Adoptive sections for her article, then I don't think Hopper should be in the Ives tree after all. I've left the Hopper family tree as it is. I hope that makes sense (?)
I saw you made some edits to the Season 2 article just moments after I had done so myself, and you deleted everything I had just added to the article. There should be an "edit conflict" warning when an edit has been made while you're editing the page, so for further reference, please double check that you're not over-writing someone else's recent edits. I went ahead and merged the image, video and info you added to my edit.
I assume it was a mistake of course, and this is just meant as a friendly heads up! :)
I figured as much but, err... You just did it again, haha! I'll just go ahead and revert it again, okay? :)
Also, I really think we should refrain from filling up the article with lots of "TBA" sections for things that haven't been announced yet. It serves absolutely no function and turns the article into a placeholder, and the information will be added when it's actually announced.
And we definitely shouldn't add a list of the cast members yet, as that is pure speculation at this point. Again, wait until the information is officialy confirmed instead of making the article a placeholder for incorrect information.
I thought you'd appreciate helping out with some rules and standards. Please take a look at Stranger Things Wiki:About and Stranger Things Wiki:Manual of Style (which are by no means complete!) and talk about anything you'd like to add, change, or remove in the talk pages About and Manual of Style. I copied over some things from my home wiki just to get started, so they may well not apply here. You're asking the right kinds of questions, and great work!
Thank you for asking me to help with the rules, I do appreciate it. I think all people should read the rules before going on the wiki so if they break any of the rules without knowing, it's still their fault for not reading the rules. We should issue warnings if someone does something forbidden on this wiki (to the amount of warnings necessary - example: if someone decides to comment an illegal website to download the episodes from, they get banned or blocked for a certain amount of time, where as if someone vandalizes a page, maybe we can issue two warnings before a ban or block). Overall, the rules are well written, but if we need more changes in the future, we will decide using a democracy.
