I was recently looking into parallel universes on Wikipedia and came across an interesting correlation between Stranger Things and such. Eventually the page got to parallel universes within fantasy, and mentioned a book written by a man named "John Myers Myers", and noticed how similiar this is to "Jonathan Byers ".
Said book "Silverlock " is about a man who ventures to a mythical land full of mythical creatures drawn from history. One can say that this land "The Commonwealth of Letters" is another fantasy version similiar to parallel universes, seen as well with The Upside Down . That being why it is mentioned within the article.
Although I doubt the name is inspired from this author, I found it very interesting and thought I'd share it with you guys. Perhaps it could be added to the notes of the Jonathan Byers page.
